THE LOOK
Plush romantic setting that really works if you want to wine and dine a special someone for the evening. It's an eloquent large dining room, so also perfect for a birthday celebration with a small or large group of friends. Service is top notch and staff are great at detailing dishes, just ask!
STRAIGHT FROM THE OVEN
Unlike many Indian restaurants around town, Maurya uses traditional methods of cooking and all Naan breads and tandoori dishes are cooked in the clay oven which is charcoal fired for that lovely smokey flavour. Try the award winning chicken chettinad - marinated chicken in south Indian chettinad paste of coconut and poppy seeds served with rice, veggies and Naan bread. Delhi on your doorstep!
DROOL FACTOR
For us, it had to be the Peshwari Rack of Lamb flamed in their clay oven. This is the stuff dreams are made of!
GOOD TO KNOW
Chefs are trained in New Delhi and use imported Indian spices - they are strict on balancing flavours with healthy cuisine so they use minimal oils, butter, and creams.
Oh, they also do a fab 'All you can eat' lunch for $12! A must try!
SWEET
Unique deserts with authentic flavours. Try the Gulab Jamun - sweet milk dumplings dipped in rose water and honey syrup.
